Our Name & Logo
Rachel was a woman in the Old Testament of the bible. She became known as 'Mother Rachel' when, more than a hundred years after her death, the prophet Jeremiah had a vision in which he saw Rachel continuing to watch over her children. To this day, the people of Israel believe that Rachel watches over them and prays for them.
We chose the name Rachel's Heart to inspire us as we strive to be an unconditional and loving support while you navigate this unexpected pregnancy.
The 3 hearts of our logo represent yours, ours and Rachel's hearts. The nurturing arm protecting the 3 hearts symbolises our commitment to provide a safe space for you to carefully consider all aspects of your situation.
The colour we've chosen makes our logo reminiscent of the 'Purple Heart' that America bestows on people for their heroic actions. It takes courage to work through a crisis situation and Rachel's Heart reminds you that you are courageous!
